I had a wonderful week teaching Dru Yoga in Bergen, Norway at the start of July.
It was great to share the powerful tools of Dru Yoga in a series of workshops designed to help participants achieve their goals and gain mastery of their lives. And even better to be able to visit and explore a new city and a new country at the same time.
Luckily I managed to squeeze in a bit of sightseeing - climbing a mountain for a spectacular view of the fjords, visiting amazing art galleries, wandering around the old wooden town and even spotting the odd troll - but as there’s still so much for to do and see, I’ll just have to be sure to wangle another visit!
I am so grateful to my wonderful friend and colleague, Ingvild Skodvin Prestegård who runs Allmenningen SA for inviting me to teach alongside her.
Vild, as I call her, is the first Dru Yoga teacher in Norway and has done an amazing job of introducing the gentle, therapeutic power of this unique yoga style to the country.
We did our Dru Yoga Teacher Training together and it was both lovely to catch up and to see how she’s grown into a truly inspirational teacher. So much so, that one of her students has caught the Dru Yoga bug and will be joining the Teacher Training course in Derby this Autumn on which I will be teaching.
Exciting times.
